Ok how this think work? You selected from the fleet click countinue and then next to the coordinates you select DF from the drop down menu and then click countinue again. After that you select harvest and send it away.

If some planet have defense or fleet on it, can it destroy the Recycler when you send it to harvest DF there or not?

When recycler is sent to harvest mission noone can see him and he can`t be destroyed by defence or fleet.

What I'm interested in is do you have any experience in determining the number of recyclers to use? From this perspective it seems to me that owning more than 2 recyclers doesn't make sense - first it is expensive (deuterium, both for scanning and fueling up the recycler) to scan wide areas (say, more than 30 star systems away), secondly - very rarely you find large quantities of debris floating around; at the time your recyclers arrive, others have already taken it.

now they may look to you expensive,but they are not. their purpose will represent when you get stronger. what is the point? when you have huge fleet and when you send your fleet to attack mission you`ll send the second fleet consisting from recyclers to collect DF made by your attack.

some time you wasting time sending Recycler to harvest,when you got there ,another gay harvested and you can only picking up remains if you are lucky!
